Courchevel 1850

Luxury Ski Chalets in Courchevel 1850

Courchevel 1850 is one of our favourite ski resorts, even if you only take the skiing into account. With a vast pisted area and some amazing runs for cruising (who can resist cruising at speed, laying down train tracks behind you on a blue sky day down Bellecôte – we cant!)  and hundreds of snow cannons along the busy pistes, the whole resort oozes quality. The lifts are excellent and almost queue-free, even in peak weeks. It is also part of Les Trois Vallées, the largest connected ski area in the world.

In addition to this great skiing, the town has the services to match. With 11 Michelin stars between 7 restaurants, 4 with 2 Michelin stars, you certainly won’t be short on choice for fine dining in the resort on your chalet chef’s evening off. Shoppers won’t be disappointed either, with plenty of the top fashion boutiques and high end shops to cater to Courchevel’s VIP clientele.

Courchevel has a reputation for being expensive, this is quite true; property prices are the 6th most expensive in the world, averaging €27,000 per square meter! The Daily Telegraph named Courchevel in 2008 the “best ski resort in Europe, if you can afford it”.

With all this in mind, you can expect the luxury ski chalets in Courchevel to be out of this world. Take a look at the luxury chalets in our Courchevel collection below, and see these stunning chalets for yourself.
